But when I used the sledgehammer on the landing, it removed all the tiles in the hallway. I knew the sledgehammer tool could delete single tiles, I'd already tried that earlier in the garden. I was doing the floor in the landing hallway and wanted to see how it would look if I removed some of the tiles running parallel to the stairs.

I'm trying to build my first house in TS4 and I'm still learning about the changes to the build system.
This might be a stupid question, but I've been trying to work this out in game for ages and I'm getting really frustrated.
