chase rare items, Try for gladiator 170 in Crucible, Kill all the nemisis and superboss mobs etc.
The variety of classes/builds is insane compared to D3. This is to say that It all feels meaningful. Its relatively difficult to feel op, again for emphasis, this is relative to D3.
What keeps me playing? Quite simply the carrot is much harder to catch in GD. Primals are just an annoying distraction, and can be completely ignored as irrelevant. Or you can chase infinite levels and do rat runs until you vomit, only to do the same thing next season.
At that point the incentive in D3 is to do trivial content over and over again until you are bored or doing it. My main issue with d3 was the paragon system and that in a couple of days (much faster for some) you can have a class set and be smashing T12 or whatever. To me thats not endgame as much as it is a brick wall.
